PROFESSIONAL OUTFITTERS IN Western Colorado Outfitters About Eric Layman Eric brings zest and youth to Western Colorado Outfitters, having hunted and fished in Colorado for over 25 years. He grew up hunting whitetail in Oklahoma where he still holds a lifetime license and enjoyed the liberal seasons hunting Archery, Black Powder, and Rifle. When he moved to Colorado he began hunting Mule Deer and the elusive Bull Elk. After guiding for several Outfitters he decided to purchase his own business. He Bought Western Colorado Outfitters from mentor and good friend Gordon Blay. Eric is continuing the tradition of trophy hunting that Gordon established over the last 30 years.
